Rachel Murphy has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, Toto , went through last weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.
Rachel explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Toto r's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."
The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Wow! My Dog, a mobile pet salon.
Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.
Rachel described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
Marianna De las Vegas, a customer of Wow! My Dog, posted a review on Yelp, detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.
Bad Review
Wow! My Dog wants its customers to understand what their groomer said to him. After all, they trusted this person with the care of their animals. Rachel revealed, "Juliann informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He also mentioned that he personally uses this method on his own dogs."
Gate News called Wow! My Dog, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. When asked about Puppy, she immediately animal abuse and serial killers said that it was an independent entity, before abruptly terminating the call.
